Since 1974, LTE has been providing quality products and services to the heavy truck transportation industry. We are Southern Alberta’s leading class 3 through 8 federally licensed truck manufacturer and chassis modification centre. As a body builder, we work with Western Canada's heavy truck dealers, municipalities and corporate and private companies to provide endless solutions for truck-mounted bodies and equipment. Local industries and surrounding communities look to LTE for aftermarket equipment, driveline, hydraulic repair and technical support.

We have a committed staff of parts people, fabricators, welders, and mechanics, all supported by an engineer and several team managers whose endless dedication provides our customers with the satisfaction and peace of mind that they deserve. LTE is also backed by one of the most prominent manufacturing plants in Canada – Southland Trailer Corp.

Our team includes an on-staff engineer/drafting technician that assists our sales and fabrication shop to ensure our customers' needs are met, and that the application meets all legal requirements.

We can provide weight distribution, payload, hydraulic, stress analysis, stability, and electrical and new application (equipment) designs.

We assure proper certification and compliance to federal Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, Alberta Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Province of Alberta Commercial Safety Regulations, CSA and WCB standards.
